Water Softeners

Reduce the effects of hard water throughout your home.

Hard water is a fact of life across much of Greater Houston. A softener is the piece of equipment that actually deals with it.

Pricing depends on your home and water. Take the quiz or reach out, and we'll give you a straight answer — no pressure attached.

What is it?

A water softener reduces hardness minerals — mainly calcium and magnesium — from the water entering your home. Ours use premium 10% crosslink ion-exchange resin and Clack control valves.

What problem does it address?

Hard water leaves white spots on dishes and fixtures, builds scale inside plumbing and appliances, and can leave skin and hair feeling dry after showering.

How does it work?

As water flows through the resin tank, hardness minerals are exchanged for a tiny amount of sodium or potassium. The system periodically regenerates the resin so it's ready to soften again — automatically.

Who is it for?

Homeowners noticing spots, scale, or dry-feeling skin and hair — especially if drinking water isn't a concern. If it's all you need, a softener is all we'll recommend.

What it doesn't do

  • A softener is not a filter. It doesn't remove chlorine, chloramine, or other contaminants.
  • It isn't meant to make drinking water taste better — that's what carbon and RO are for.
  • It won't fix every water issue, and we'll tell you if your concerns point elsewhere.

What's included
